What Oklahoma requires on your label

The label maker below handles all of this for you. Here is the checklist it follows, straight from Oklahoma's rules.

   Producer name and phone number

   Your legal or business name and a phone number.

   Physical address where produced, OR a registration number

   A voluntary $15 state registration (HB 2975, 2024) issues a number you may print instead of your name, phone, and home address.

   Product name or description

   e.g. "Sourdough Bread".

   Ingredients in descending order

   Include sub-ingredients of compound ingredients.

   Allergen presence statement

   The nine major allergens including sesame.

   Required disclaimer in at least 10-point type

   Exact wording below. Third-party retail sales and placards use the version ending "This product may contain allergens."

   Honey only: weight in standard and metric units

   The dual-unit weight requirement applies specifically to honey.

• For unpackaged sales the same information must appear on a placard or webpage.
• HB 3720 (signed May 2026, effective November 1, 2026) renames the law the Local Food Freedom Act and raises the sales cap to $250,000 while preserving these labeling rules.
